Survey sketch

A survey sketch or diagram is one of the required documents to be submitted to the Surveyor General Branch when a surveyor is requesting specific survey instructions (B2-1 section 4.2, C1 section 17). Also, C2 section 39, and C3 section 44 of the General Instructions for the Survey of Canada Lands stipulate the requirement for a sketch plan to be prepared and approved for a proposed subdivision of Titled Lands.
